Removing the complete roof and building a new roof raised approx 750mm.
Creating 2 x bedrooms and a second bathroom within the new loft space.
2 x dormers to the side elevation facing the main garden, with 3 x velux windows to the opposite side.

New roof built over the existing prior to removing.
Old roof now removed and stud walling being fitted. Block work to end wall shows the previous different height, space provided.
New structural end post/steelwork detail to ridge line.
Roof raised and dormers now built.
Fibreglass fitted between the new floor joists which help act against sound travel.
Timber structure built, also shows the internal difference between existing and new heights, looking at the end wall. (Note: New inner timber cavity wall built as none existing!).
Rigid insulation boards being fitted.
Insulation fitted to dormer window area.
Foil fitted to help reflect heat back into the room/s.

Inside storage cupboards. Note: Larger than normal from raising complete roof to property.

Door to left and velux to end wall, 2 cupboard doors under.
